About the Group

The Maternal and Vaccine Immunology Group is an independent, non-commercial, academic group, which is part of the Centre for Neonatal and Paediatric Infection (CNPI) situated in the Institute for Infection & Immunity at St George’s, University of London. We are a world class centre facilitating laboratory studies and field studies in African and European settings. Our collaborations bring together leading academic institutions, the WHO, regulators and key players in industry.

What we do

Research

Laboratory and clinical research projects in infectious diseases (i.e. Group B Streptococcus, Pertussis, SARS-CoV-2, Klebsiella, Measles) in vulnerable populations, such as pregnant women and children.

SGUL I&I Biobank

St George’s, University of London Infection and Immunity Research Group (SGUL I&I) Biobank for repository of biological samples and data for research purposes.
